Art Department Mission
The Freetown-Lakeville Middle School’s Art Department is dedicated to providing a balanced art education. We encourage creativity and appreciation in all areas of art. The goal is to enhance lives through quality visual art experiences while maintaining the school core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
My mission as an art teacher is to encourage individual expression by giving students the opportunity to try different processes and many different mediums. My goal is for all students to learn to respect the materials, their classmates, and their teachers. It is also part of my mission to show the students how they can apply what they learn in the art room to the things they learn in their classroom. My most important objective is for students to feel successful in whatever ways they choose to express their creativity and individuality.
